I guess this is the first time I’m being published for my unsolicited stories (most of my published work was commissioned).

While I’ve just signed another book deal for my cyberpunk novel titled Homecoming, it’s not set to take off until April 2021 or so.

UPDATE: A Quick Note

UPDATES: My Myanmar Biking Story

I remember signing up for that Writers Bureau course when I was still dressing hair for a living. I spent years fantasising about having my byline in magazines, the wonder of reading feature articles and hoping to do something similar one day.

This piece is particularly meaningful because I really loved my time on assignment and the writing process. The formatting’s a little off when compared to the hard copy though, so I’ll try putting up the PDF version soon.

Just a short post

Now that I have a separate section to show my work, I feel like the blog can be used for the “bloggier” posts, such as pictures of my lunch, or two sentence updates. After all, being somewhat of a recluse, a friend once admitted that my blog provided more insight into my life than an evening with her. So yeah, I think I need to work on stuff.
