Accepting Bitcoin as payment was one of NEXT Academy’s bold marketing efforts, especially pertaining to its position in the tech industry. That, in itself, was an innovative move, especially seeing how cryptocurrency was on the rise. The problem was letting the world know, and I was to find a solution.
Getting the word out
Having been in the media for six years at this point, I was more than familiar with the format as I’d been the recipient of one too many press releases.
I had a fair grasp in Malay writing, and I’d asked my colleagues to help with the Chinese version. What resulted was a multilingual press release that helped NEXT Academy broadcast its news to the local media.
